The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology provides an academic educational environment that achieves quality standards and academic accreditation, ensuring that our students obtain the necessary knowledge and skills in various computer fields, to be successful and effective in the community in building, developing, and benefiting from the latest technologies to advance the nation in various fields.

Information technology, in its various fields of software, technology, systems, and artificial intelligence, plays a fundamental role in facilitating human lives, the work of institutions, and the activities and tasks of governments. It raises the efficiency and quality of work with its high-speed implementation that has contributed to shortening time and effort and hastened the process of business development and modernization. Without information technology, its software and systems, modern companies would not have been able to grow until they reached a global level, and giant companies would have emerged that own branches in various countries, cities and even villages in the world. Computer networks and Internet, for example, facilitate the process of communication and exchange of information at high speed, no matter how great the distances. Database software and systems facilitate the processes of processing and obtaining the necessary information at tremendous speed within the huge amounts of data that modern companies deal with. Artificial intelligence techniques and expert systems work to provide Intelligent systems speed up the decision-making process and reduce the workload on humans by automating many routine and cumbersome processes that require high expertise to implement.

We hope that our students will pay more attention to their wonderful and modern field, and exert greater effort, study, persevere and strive for excellence in the field they have chosen as a major for university study in the faculty, confident in their university and faculty staff are doing their best to provide them with the best environment, believing that God Almighty will grant them success in their lives. We hope our students work hard to build themselves, their knowledge, their community in the service of the homeland and the world as a whole.
